Project Development Manager - Power & Desalination (Dubai)
One of our clients is urgently seeking a highly experienced Project Development Manager with a specialisation in Power and Desalination projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in the Middle East power sector, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully developing and executing large-scale projects.
To be noted – this is an urgent vacancy! Candidates already based in Middle East & who are immediately available will be given preference.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in power project development, with a focus on the Middle East market.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing large-scale power projects from concept to commissioning.
- Extensive experience in pre-FID activities including feasibility studies, bid/tender preparation, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of power generation technologies, desalination processes, and related infrastructure.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams and driving project success.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and investment appraisal techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing power and desalination projects in the Middle East.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
