Transformation Project Manager 

Location: Dubai (seconded to Oman for a 1-year strategic project) 

Role: Project Manager for complex transformation projects, involving the conceptual design, negotiations, planning and implementation of joint ventures in the energy, supply chain and logistics field. 

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the PMO, whilst also contributing to the thinking and development of the business model and operating models, and subsequent implementation. The role will be required to manage a PMO team, as well as multiple work streams, delivered by management consultants, law firms and internal teams.   

Experience Required: 

• 10+ years complex transformation experience with global management consultancy or international corporation, covering these types of transformations: joint ventures, M&A or post-merger integrations 

• Project Management Office (PMO) experience  

• Business model and operating model formulation and implementation

• Team management experience 

• Problem solving, and project structuring experience (i.e. developing proposals, scopes of work, and project delivery frameworks)

• Understanding of the oil & gas sector 

Desired: 

• Supply chain management and logistics industry experience 

• Experience in the Middle East (especially understanding Oman)

• Business & financial modelling 

• MBA
