WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Well Interventions Engineer on behalf of our client, an E&P Operator based in Aberdeen
This role is a contracting (12-months) position, based full time in the clients office.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing well intervention operations to optimize production, enhance well integrity, and perform necessary maintenance.
Application of various intervention techniques, including wireline, coiled tubing, and hydraulic workovers, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry and regulatory standards
Oversee the execution of well intervention operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements for offshore drilling.
Strong knowledge of well integrity, intervention techniques, and production optimization.
