Pre-FEED Engineer – Onshore Wind

Our client requires a Pre-FEED Onshore Wind Engineer with extensive (500MW+) Middle East Onshore Wind experience for a giga-scale Hydrogen and Green Ammonia project in Oman. 

Non-negotiables: 

• Experience in Middle East 
• Utility-scale onshore wind experience 

Duties: 

• Wind Yield assessment
• Site visit / site evaluation
• Wind farm layout
• Wind farm SLD
• Wind farm infrastructure design – work with civil engineer team
• Interface with geotechnical team to prepare tower foundations
• Interface with Sub-station and OHTL team
• Interface with BESS designers
• Interface with Solar design team
• Write RFI/RFQ, Obtain / pre-select OEMs
  • Foundation
  • Towers
  • Turbines
  • Opex/Capex
  • Decommissioning plan
• Logistics / Construction plan – i.e. evaluate transporting blades from Salalah port to site
• Prepare and budget next phases; FEED, post-FID construction and commissioning
• Junior engineer support from ATR internal

This will be a 6-9 month contract, commencement end September/early October.
