Now Hiring: Regional Senior Business Developer – Renewables (Middle East and Central Asia)

 

We are currently seeking a Regional Senior Business Developer for our client, an international solutions company specializing in renewable energy.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Nationality: Preference for Emirati or Saudi nationals; other native Arabic speakers will also be considered.

  • Location: Candidates must already be based in the Middle East, with a strong preference for those located in Dubai.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to the renewable energy sector.

  • Technical Knowledge: Extensive expertise in PV (Photovoltaic) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) products and solutions.

  • Industry Background: Strong EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) experience, particularly in PV and BESS solutions.

  • Reporting Structure: Reporting directly to the Head of Department (HOD) in a single-contributor role with no team management responsibilities.

  • Availability: Candidates should be available to join as soon as possible, though notice periods will be accommodated.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy to drive business growth, achieve sales KPIs, and ensure successful sales execution. Build customer confidence and trust while supporting clients in meeting their own KPIs, maintaining the company’s strong market positioning.

  2. Establish and nurture high-level customer relationships, securing exclusive project support and effectively managing critical business events.

  3. Define key account strategies and business plans by conducting thorough market analysis, identifying industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and business opportunities.

  4. Identify customer pain points and business objectives to foster a mutually beneficial business environment that drives long-term success for both parties.

  5. Set strategic market objectives based on in-depth industry, customer, and competitive insights. Actively contribute to the development and execution of customer relationship management plans.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Customer Relationship Management: Strong ability to establish, enhance, and maintain high-level customer relationships. A deep understanding of customer challenges and requirements, with the capability to present tailored solutions that add value and drive business success.

  2. Project Management & Execution: Proven ability to collect key market and customer insights, coordinate internal resources, and lead project operations to successful completion.

  3. Regional Market Expertise: Minimum of five years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a solid track record of leading project operations across the Middle East & Central Asia (ME&CA) region.

  4. Strategic Relationship Building: Ability to establish and strengthen exclusive customer relationships, influence key decision-makers, and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics. Skilled in managing and mitigating challenges to ensure positive client engagement and long-term partnerships.
