Vice President Investment & Economic Analysis

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Vice President, Investment & Economic Analysis on behalf of our client, an energy company based in the UAE

This role is a permanent full time position, located in the UAE. 

Key Responsibilities and requirements

• Develop and oversee the investment strategy to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and market conditions.
  
  
• Conduct economic evaluations and feasibility studies for new and existing projects

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast financial performance and support decision-making processes.

• Manage the allocation of capital across different projects and initiatives, ensuring optimal returns and efficient use of resources.

• Analyse market trends, commodity prices, and economic indicators to inform investment decisions and strategy.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and economic risks associated with investments and projects.

• Track and report on the performance of investments and projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Communicate investment strategies, financial performance, and economic outlooks to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
