Senior Legal Counsel

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel on behalf of our client, a leading energy company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asset management within the oil and gas sector, with a deep understanding of the relevant legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee legal aspects of asset management, including compliance and risk mitigation.
• Provide legal advice on asset acquisition, development, and disposal.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align asset management with financial and environmental goals.

• Monitor asset financial performance and assist in budgeting and cost control.

   

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in asset management within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of the legal framework governing the oil and gas industry in the UAE and internationally.
