Legal Counsel, Commercial & Operations

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel, Commercial & Operations position on behalf of our client, an energy company based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating industry-specific contracts (e.g., piloting, drilling, well and oilfield services, O&M, logistics, vessels, aviation, HSE, professional and technical consultancy), as well as general commercial agreements.
• Preparing legal documents, including memos, letters, notices, and related correspondence.
• Providing legal advisory services, including support during negotiations and addressing pre- and post-contract matters.
• Assisting with supply chain-related categories and matters within the Oil and Gas sector.

• Supporting the business with tendering and other commercial activities across the Oil & Gas value chain.

   

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of PQE.
• Prior experience in the Middle Eastern energy sector is preferred.
• Background in-house or in private practice, working with major Oil & Gas operators or service companies.
• Qualification in English and Welsh law is essential.
