Vice President Market Intelligence Downstream

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Vice President Market Intelligence Downstream opportunity for our client, an energy company in the UAE. 

Key responsibilities are:

• Deliver insights on effective business intelligence and timely access to critical information, while using Data Warehousing techniques to organise and integrate reliable and time-oriented information with focus on market competitiveness and rising industries and its impact on a long term horizon
•  Plan and lead assessment of the organisations competitive value including opportunity scanning- Supply/demand, Market & Technology trends, Competitor Profile/ Analytics, etc. for optimum pricing and sales strategies supporting better decision. 
• Ensure all relevant information is timely made available to relevant levels of the enterprise, from senior management to the knowledge worker using existing data assets to make better business decisions and to uncover new business opportunities.

Required Experience: 

• 20+ years of experience in the Energy industry
• Experience in managing several Downstream remits
• Market Intelligence/Market Insights Consultancy Firms background
